Our high quality printing system with color layering technology provides a wide color gamut, continuous tones, and smooth color transitions. Choose surface protection to prevent damage to your prints.
3. Mounted Poster
Mounted on 3/16" of foam board, our mounted posters offer the sturdiness you want for showing off your great shots. Also great for signs and advertising.
Gator board has a foam center of Styrofoam polystyrene with a Luxcell veneer. The veneer is a multilayered, resin-impregnated paper surface. Gator Board has little tendency to warp.
If you are planning to hang posters on the wall unframed, or have them on display, unframed, for a long period of time, we recommend Ultra Board. The edges of the board are not finished, so framing is recommended for a professional look.
4. Lamination
Laminating is the process of applying a thin (2-5 mil) plastic film to the front of an image. Lamination protects the image from dust, moisture, and scratching, and reduces fading due to light exposure. The laminate will change the color depth of the image, adding a glossy or wet look to the print.
Bright bold shine that makes the colors pop. Provides surface protection and fade resistance. Must be handled with care or the surface of the print will kink. Excellent for pictures, not recommended for text/graphics posters due to the potential for glare in bright light.
Lamination is limited to 59" wide.
